Research and Study Group (RandS)
RandS is an email group, dedicated to active documentation and further genealogical research of our common mixed blood ancestors. Topics include some families known as Redbone, Melungeon, Lumbee, Croatan's, Brass Ankles and more. All surname researchers are welcome and encouraged to join.
We are dedicated to the preservation and documentation of mixedblood family genealogies, culture, tribal history, and the identification of ethnic and racial heritage.
RandS provides support and encouragement to our fellow team members by providing documentation storage, assigned tasks and common research goals.
We share and network source information, including professional services. We sponsor, assist and encourage the publication of educational research articles to our members by providing links and descriptions to our team members site's and blogs.
If you are interested in joining RandS research team, you may request a membership. Please be aware, those interested in joining our team should be in a position to actively research, contribute and further our goals as a team. We do provide for special interest research at our list archives, please contact the list owner for consideration of your project.
